What is a Group?

Groups are the heartbeat of LIFE where large services on a Sunday are paired with authentic connection during the week. At LIFE, we have 3 focuses of Groups:

Spiritual Friends

People whose company you enjoy as you follow Jesus together.

Sharing Sacred Encounters

When you gather, sacred moments are fostered via meals, conversation, exploring the Bible or praying together.

For a Divine Purpose

A unique purpose that extends beyond the members, this might include serving in a LIFE Community Kitchen or simply praying for friends who need God to step into their lives.

How do I join a Group?

FAQs

Every Group is unique. Some discuss the weekend message or do a Bible Study together, some serve together in the community, and some play board games or paddleboard once a month. Two things you’ll find in every Group, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their faith.

Yes, we encourage you to check out a few groups to find the right fit for you. Don’t feel bad if you don’t choose the first one you visit, just let the leaders know when you get in contact that you are trying a few groups to find the right one for you.

The best thing to do is to talk to your Connection Leader or email us admin@lifeadelaide.org, we will be able to put you in touch with a leader of a Group that will hopefully be right for you.

We would love to talk to you about leading a group. Email us at admin@lifeadelaide.org and we will get our People Pastor to get in touch to discuss further.
