This week, Pastors Dan and Ashari McGaw, continue our new series ‘Unfiltered’ as they speak on Marriage and Sex. The main goal of marriage isn’t companionship, it’s to advance the kingdom. Marriage is a way for two spiritual friends to journey together to become the people God designed them to be.

UNFILTERED|Foundations for Healthy Relationships - Ps Dan & Ashari McGaw - Sunday 17th November 2024

This week, Campus Pastors Dan and Ashari McGaw, unpack four principles to help us fight for healthy biblical relationships. If you don’t fight FOR your relationships, you will fight IN your relationships.

UNFILTERED| Love is Patient - Ps Dan & Ashari McGaw - Sunday 10th November 2024

This week, Campus Pastors Dan and Ashari McGaw kick off our new series ‘Unfiltered’ as they share how ‘Love is Patient’. The quality of our relationships will determine the quality of our lives. We want better quality relationships, however, there is often a disconnect between this desire and our ability to do so. Love is the key to relationships, if our relationships aren’t built from love we are missing the point. But what is love, firstly love is patient.

Built to Last - Ps Ashari McGaw - Sunday 29th October 2024

This week, Ps Ashari McGaw shares how we can live our lives from a foundation that is built to last. We can have the right material but still be building on the wrong foundation. Foundations are the only thing that remains steadfast in a storm, even if we lose everything, we can build upon them again.

The Art of the Altar - Ps Dan McGaw - Sunday 13th October 2024

This week, Ps Dan McGaw speaks on the ‘The Art of the Altar’. Altars are built to mark a moment with God. It’s when we don’t mark these moments that we forget what God has done in our lives. The transformation power of the altar is only found when our life is laid down as a living sacrifice. It’s then that we can discover His will and His purpose for our life. The art of the altar is a daily surrender.

Now and Not Yet – Ps Ashari McGaw – Sunday 29 September 2024

This week, Ps Ashari McGaw speaks on the tension of ‘Now and Not Yet’. The question we should be asking ourselves is not ‘Are we willing?’ but instead ‘What is keeping us stuck in-between now and not yet?’ God wants to redeem these areas by meeting us where we are at — speaking purpose and promise over us. However, there are two common traps we can fall into which can stop us from engaging in the promises of God. We can either disqualify ourselves from the purposes of God or elevate ourselves to the position of God.

Christ Centred Community – Ps Dan McGaw – Sunday 22 September 2024

This week, Ps Dan McGaw shares the importance of a Christ-centred Community. Community is not an optional aspect of our faith; it is a vital component to our spiritual formation. Christ-centred community is one of the greatest ways we can reveal Christ to others. God’s plan wasn’t that we may sit together on a Sunday but that we may be knit together every day of the week.

Living on Purpose – Ps Dan McGaw – Sunday 15 September 2024

This week off the back of our ‘Why?” Series, Campus Pastor, Dan McGaw asks the question what does it mean to live on purpose? He has always had a purpose for you, in fact, he has created us all in mind of what He has purposed us for. Our purpose is that we may see His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So, are we living for earth or are we living for heaven?

WHY Jesus – Ps Scott Thornton – Sunday  9 September 2024

Summary and questions from LIFE Nz's Ps Scott Thornton, who continued out WHY series on WHY Jesus. This week, we ask, ‘Why Jesus?’ Many people have searched through various religions and ideologies to find peace, meaning, and fulfilment. However, these paths often fall short because they are human constructs designed to help us make sense of our lives.

Summary and questions from LIFE Melbourne Lead Pastor, Craig Clark, continues our new series as we explore the ‘why’ not just the ‘what’ around the most fundamental aspects of our faith. This week, we ask, ‘Why Faith?’ as we look at why faith is a vital element of our Christian life. Before faith, we are just simply existing. A step of faith brings us to life but continuing to walk in faith keeps us living. When we take a step of faith we are inviting God into that area of our life. For every hurdle we face in life, there is a heavenly outcome.

Summary and questions from Ps Dan McGaw as he continues our new series as we explore the ‘why’ not just the ‘what’ around the most fundamental aspects of our faith. This week, we ask, ‘Why Suffering?’ as we look at why suffering exists and how it fits into our Christian Walk. Suffering can be defined as living between what we thought would be and the reality of what is. Suffering was not supposed to be our reality, however when sin first entered the world so did suffering. The suffering and pain that was meant to sabotage our spiritual formation is actually the secret to our spiritual formation. Suffering is an opportunity, it can be taken or thrown away. Suffering takes what is head knowledge to heart knowledge, it prunes what is unproductive or diseased, it deepens our dependence on God and shows others the reality of Jesus.

Summary and questions from Senior Pastor Luke de Jong. This week, we ask, ‘Why the Bible?’ as we look at the importance of the Bible, not just as a historical document but as the living word of God. The Bible isn’t just a collection of ancient stories it is God’s revelation to us, a guide for our lives and a means to know Him more intimately. Despite this diversity, it presents a unified story of God's plan for humanity, culminating in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible is not
just informative but transformative, designed to change our hearts and lives.

WHY Worship? – Ps Dan McGaw – Sunday 4 August 2024

Summary and questions from Ps Dan McGaw on "WHY Worship?" We are beings who were created to worship. It is an expression of our deepest affection and reverence for God. Our worship will reveal the condition of our hearts, realigning us and shifting our focus back to where it should be.

WHY Forgive? – Ps Dan McGaw – Sunday 28 July 2024

Summary and questions from Ps Dan McGaw. This week we unpack ‘Why as believers should we forgive?’ The cost of unforgiveness is far too high, it traps us in a moment. Holding onto un-forgiveness is holding onto something that is causing us pain. It keeps the pain alive and the wound open. To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you all along. To be a Christian is to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable.
